Some of our More Able and Talented pupils have departed to Switzerland to visit The European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN).
The orgainisation operates the largest particle physics laboratory in the world, and is the leading research facility of this kind in the world.
Our young physicists will be spending several days learning more about the world class research at CERN and how this informs their own knowledge of particle theory, matter and the fundamental structure of the universe.
Mr Dean Price will be able to share more with the school community on his return. Good luck everyone, what an amazing opportunity for Pen y Dre High School pupils!
